Job Description

The Mothers’ Morning Out Ministry at Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield is seeking an energetic, loving person to work with children ages 1-2 years.  Responsibilities would include daily teaching and classroom duties to assist Lead Teacher, as well as positive interactions with the students, and parents.   Education/Experience with childhood development as well as CPR/First Aid certification a plus. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-12:30pm. During the regular school year the program follows the Johnston County School calendar for holidays. The program does continue as a “Summer Camp” in the summer (optional for staff). Must pass a background check.
