Job Description

This position works under with the Maintenance and Facility Coordinator, following the direction and timelines provided. The position will be responsible for recurring routine maintenance that is required to be completed on schedule, as well as a varied array of unplanned stuff that breaks.

The ideal candidate will have the abilities to perform the following duties:

Basic Routine Maintenance

• Replace HVAC filters, basic vehicle/equipment service and repair, basic facilities/greenhouse/carpentry repair

Applicant must:

• Enjoy physical and often dirty work in all types of weather
• Enjoy working with an energetic, flexible, and outgoing team
• Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, bend, kneel and often carry heavy items
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Occasional weekend work required, may include assisting with Open Houses

Qualifications:

• License: Drivers (Required)

Employee Classification: Permanent Full Time (Non-Exempt)
Compensation: $16.00 Hourly
Standard Business Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm + eight open nursery and garden sales weekends each year
