Comfort Inn, Smithfield is looking an exceptional Front Desk Host to join our team of hospitality professionals in delivering unforgettably positive human interactions for all people.
Front desk duties vary, some do consist of the following but are not limited to only them. Greeting and directing guest, as well as staff. Answering multi-phone lines, schedule reservations, registering guest, assigning rooms to guest, checking out guest, running daily/nightly reports. Leading the Front Desk Hospitality team with a naturally positive and engaged personality, and having a sincere commitment to SERVE both guest and fellow team members. Maximizing room revenue by using effective face to face and telephone selling skills to convince people to stay at our hotel and pay our rates. Effectively using computers and internet to communicate with guests and teammates via email and research various guest requests, and using calculators to determine appropriate taxes and change amounts. Performing error free work flow on a consistent (daily) basis at a level of excellence; workflow to include taking reservations, checking guests in/out, and handling cash and credit card transactions among other things. Ensuring that hotel procedures and amenities are compliant with brand standards.
Hours: 7am to 3pm , 3pm to 11pm, 5pm to 9pm, or 11pm to 7am (training hours may differ)
