Full-Time Home Inspector Trainee
Job Description

Experience/knowledge of the residential construction industry is a plus. Responsibilities and Duties
The Home Inspector Assistant will perform similar duties as the Lead Inspector, including but not limited to:
- Demonstration of safe practices while climbing ladders and traversing roof surfaces, as well as standing, sitting, climbing, and crawling in confined spaces under various uncomfortable conditions
- Computer work, including a lot of typing and online research/studies
- Professional interaction and communication with clients, homeowners, team members, and other industry professionals
- Driving to and from job sites with attention to safety and punctuality
- Working with dedication to complete the inspection and report in a timely manner
Successful completion of the 60-day probationary period required. The new hire will be required to sign a non-compete upon hiring.
Qualifications and Skills
Home Inspector Assistant candidates must:
- Have working knowledge of construction, home inspections, and/or building systems
- Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Possess a working knowledge of computers and internet navigation
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Demonstrate good employment history
- Display strong customer service skills
- Be at least 21 years old
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass random drug and/or alcohol screening
