Position offered: Licensed P&C Agent Four Oaks NC
Our growing Independent Agency is seeking a full time, Licensed P&C Agent. This is a great opportunity for the person that works well with others, offers excellent customer service and has a positive attitude.
Position requires someone that enjoys client interaction and has the ability to multi-task.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Effectively service new and existing accounts
- Clerical tasks
- Basic client questions
- Endorsements
- Commercial and personal lines renewal reviews
- Take payments
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Make outbound phone calls
- Cross sell to existing clients
- Help with agency retention
- Issue commercial certificates
- Educate customers about coverage, exclusions and exposures
- Quote and issue new business
- Ability to work independently to resolve client and underwriting issues
- Property document files in agency management system with close attention to detail and consistancy
Requirements:
- Must have an active P&C license
- Excellent public relations and communications skills
- Able to act in a professional manner at all times
- Have a positive work ethic
- Dress accordingly
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to follow agency protocols.
- Independent agency experience a plus, but captive agency experience will be considered
- Able to adapt to new ideas and ways of doing things
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work when scheduled
- Available to work 8-6 Monday – Friday and an occasional Saturday as needed
