PART TIME RADIO SHOW HOST/ON-AIR PERSONALITY
Immediate Opening for Part time Radio Show Host/On-Air Personality on Country Superstars 102.3FM in Clayton, NC. On-air experience required, along with radio programming background. Candidate should have a friendly, outgoing and easy to understand voice delivery.
The primary purpose of the position is to pass along timely local information about weather and other local happenings, introduce some of the music played during the shift, and to engage listeners by phone for contests and other listener feedback.
Must be familiar with and make every effort to remain up to date with FCC broadcast rules, the communities in the station coverage area, the music featured on the show, station social media and station promotions.
Must have technical skills to learn and professionally operate the studio equipment required to produce live and pre-recorded shows, and to participate in managing the station’s social media.
The position also requires capabilities in audio production and voicing and/or voice-tracking to air outside of the assigned duty hours, as well as occasional extra shifts to help carry out special station events such as live broadcasts, station appearances, and/or studio operation for these events.
