Job Description

The Town of Princeton has a population of approximately
1260 citizens located 7 miles east of Smithfield in Johnston
County. State and department requirements for a police
officer include a High School Diploma or GED, current BLET
certification, valid NC Driver’s license with good driving
records, background check, medical/psych exams, and
substance abuse testing. Starting salary for applicants with
only BLET is $31,181-31,930. Pay may be increased 5% with
experience and training. Town benefits include medical,
vision, dental, 401K, accrued vacation and sick time.
